The Terms and Conditions apply to all Registration Transfers carried out by ONE AND ONLY CAR REGISTRATIONS LIMITED, hereinafter referred to as the Company.
Company liability is strictly limited to a full refund only with no claims for damages, interest on monies paid or other expenses will be entertained.
In the event of a transfer failing a full money back guarantee provided the buyer is not responsible for the inability of the Company to complete the Registration transfer.
1. The company requires the V5 Registration document and MOT certificate (if applicable). If you are not the registered keeper of the vehicle you will need to complete the reverse side of the V5 document with the name and address of the new keeper that will be on the new Registration document, then sign the declaration, the new keeper will be registered by DVLA Swansea when the Registration transfer has been completed. Do not send the V5 directly to DVLA for change of keeper. Do not surrender the V5 at the post office or Registration office. If the vehicle needs re-taxed the Company can do this at the same time as the transfer.
2. If the Registration is being applied to a brand new vehicle the company requires the V55 document from the garage who supplies the vehicle, plus the Insurance certificate and a cheque to pay the department of Transport for the road tax and the £38 first registration fee.
3. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to enter the correct details onto the Company Internet forms on submission or relayed to the Company representative at purchase. The Company shall use standard phonetics when referring to combinations as requested by the purchaser.
4. Under the Distance Selling Regulations the Company must notify the buyer the service the Company provides begins as soon as the Registration mark has been reserved on your request, the transaction can not be reversed, no cooling off period is available and no refund can be given.
5. While every attempt is made to ensure the fastest possible Registration transfer, the Company cannot guarantee a specific time period for the whole transfer. (NORMALLY 28 DAYS).
6. The Company is not responsible for delays or errors occurred by electronic mail, the postal system or the DVLA / Department of Transport or other unforeseen circumstances which delays the Registration transfer.
7. The new purchased registration cannot be displayed until the Registration transfer has been completed through DVLA.
8. Payment on a Registration is non returnable unless the transfer cannot proceed due to the default of the donor. The full payment is required on purchase of the registration which secures the plate. If payment is by credit card the company are at liberty to surcharge the said client.
Note surcharge is the same % that Individual card company charges us.
9. When the registration transfer has been authorised through DVLA Swansea all liabilities are rescinded from ONE AND ONLY CAR REGISTRATIONS LIMITED.
10. A registration can be secured by the Company on a retention certificate for the buyer until he has secured the donor vehicle ( If required ).
11. The retention fee is £105 and the Department of Transport fee for each Registration is £80.
12. Certain Registrations are subject to VAT. All registrations are subject to Department of Transport transfer fee.
13. Terms and Conditions listed constitute the entire agreement between parties when purchasing Car Registrations.
